The Danish chain Jem & Fix is expanding into Norway, with four or five stores expected to open as the spring progresses.
Four of the locations are already decided, and a Norwegian central office has already been established at Lysaker, close to Oslo.
The pilot stores are located in towns of varying size and with different competition situations. Up to 50 Jem & Fix stores could open in Norway in the next five years.
Jem & Fix is part of the Harald Nyborg Group and operates a low price concept. The chain currently has 115 stores in Denmark and 45 in Sweden.
