Household real income per capita up in the euro area and nearly stable in the EU28

In the euro area, in real terms, household income per capita increased by 0.2% in the first quarter of 2017, after a decrease of 0.1% in the previous quarter. Household real consumption per capita was stable in the first quarter of 2017, after an increase of 0.1% in the fourth quarter of 2016.

 

 

In the EU28, household real income per capita increased by 0.1% in the first quarter of 2017, after an increase of 0.2% in the previous quarter. Household real consumption per capita decreased by 0.2% in the first quarter of 2017, after an increase of 0.2% in the fourth quarter of 2016.
